Show icons in edit window
The status icons in the edit window can be disabled or enabled with this setting.

Enable path checking
In networks the windows operating system can have quite a long time to determine whether a drive is available or not. A check of the validity of a path can take time so it might be recommended to disable this function when entering network paths. This setting is available in the edit window as well.

Apply regular expressions for folders to entire path
This option avoids changes for the begin and end characters of a string for regular expressions for the folder search. If this option is set the normal rules for regular expressions are used. If deactivated then the characters ^ and $ will be internally changed to slashes (\). More information about regular expressions is located on this page.
